The party pried open the scorched doors of the Burned-Out Tap to find goblin campfires still smoldering among blackened tables. Six goblins had torn through whatever valuables the tavern's patrons left behind, while a single hobgoblin leader held the owner's den—his chain shirt singed, a dented shield propped against a ruined bar. Between melted tankards, burst barrels of spirits and a half-charred ledger, there's a mix of usable gear, low-value jewels and a few tidbits worth selling or following up on. Many items show soot and fire damage; some require cleaning or repair before full resale, and the ledger plus a half-burned map hint at where the goblin band was operating from.
