Gloomspring Lair Spoils

After collapsing the basilisk's lair chamber and dispatching its lizards and troglodyte guardians, the party rifled through nests of half-eaten quarry, a low pit where the basilisk laired, and the troglodytes' crude caches. They recovered a mix of practical spoils and rarities: coin and trade gems hidden beneath skinned lizard bodies, troglodyte-stitched hides and bone talismans, and a shard of petrifying scale salvaged from the basilisk's flank. Most valuable among the finds were a reliable Bag of Holding discovered in a troglodyte captain's hoard and a +1 short sword pried from the basilisk's sleeping place. Potions and crafting materials from the giant lizards will keep the party going and give their artisans useful work. The troglodyte trinkets and basilisk shard hold more value to alchemists and collectors than to ordinary merchants, so the party might gain extra coin by seeking the right buyer.
