Drift-Shadow Den Skirmish

After pushing through a low, smoke-streaked tunnel the party finds the small chamber used as a kobold watch-post. The winged kobold fell pinned beneath a collapsed support beam while the Dragonshield's fellows abandoned the shield on the floor in their rush to flee. Behind a loose flagstone a pouch of petty coins and a rough garnet were hidden. Scattered about are the practical scraps a low-rank kobold warband keeps close: a dented wooden shield, a chipped dagger, a sling with a few bullets, and a common potion scooped from a flaskshelf. The Dragonshield's fang and the tattered banner are less common finds but fit the locale and the small dragon-worship flavor of these kobolds. The party can spend the better part of an hour skimming usable gear, selling valuables, or salvaging components for crafting and roleplaying purposes.
