The party pried open a low, cobwebbed chest in the dungeon's lower hallway, beneath a crumbling statue of a long-forgotten warder. The chest contained a motley of practical items likely left behind by minor cultists, desperate explorers, or scavenging brigands: small coins, a handful of simple trinkets useful to craftsmen, and a few consumables that will help the party survive another trek deeper into the dark. Nothing here is magical, but everything is serviceable for a level 1 party starting out in a classic dungeon crawl.
