Cellar of the Embered Sigil

Beneath a crumbling section of the stone dungeon the party found a low, smoke-streaked chamber where two spined devils and the cult's guard were posted while their mage completed a ritual. After the skirmish the mage's notes and a scattered cache of ritual accouterments were left behind. The devils' barbs and a few personal trinkets were gathered from the fallen cultists. The haul contains a mix of practical adventuring supplies, a few reliable magic items that can shift the balance of future fights, and several ritual components and valuables that can be sold or studied. The party will likely want to decide whether to keep the wand and scroll for immediate power, sell the larger gems and the statuette to fund gear, and whether to turn the cultist grimoire over to local authorities or a scholar for rewards or favors.
