After descending a collapsed stair and bypassing a tired pressure plate, the party finds a low, dust-choked side chamber off the dungeon's main corridor. The room smells of old iron and oil; scorch marks on the walls suggest the place was once defended by crude enchantments rather than living guardians. A stone chest set into an alcove contains the bulk of the valuables, while a shrine shelf holds curios and components that hint at the long-ago cultists' craft. Nothing here is lavish enough to suggest a noble hoard, but everything is useful to a small party eking a living from exploration: coin for immediate expenses, a few tradeable gems and components, one reliable healing potion, and a modestly enchanted blade likely meant for a zealot's blade rather than a champion's trophy.
