The tavern's timbers still smolder when the smoke clears. Six goblins, cooking up mischief, and their hobgoblin overseer defended the scorched common room — and left behind a testament to a hurried looting and a violent stand. Broken tables, a collapsed hearth, and a half-melted iron chest hide a mix of practical salvage and small treasures: the hobgoblin's field gear, the goblins' scavenged trinkets, a proprietor's ruined ledger with names and debts, and craftable bits of the tavern itself. Most items are singed or soot-streaked; a few retain value beyond coin as hooks for questions or favors.
