The Tale of This Treasure
The raiders struck fast, then scattered when the party pushed back. The sand around the broken dune crest is dotted with discarded arrows, trampled tents and the charred remains of a small shamanic hearth where the two raider sorcerers stood. Survivors and bodies left behind carry the usual spoils of a desert raiding party: battered weapons and leathers, a handful of tradeable gems and spices, a few coin pouches, and two small arcane trinkets that the sorcerers used as foci. Nothing of obvious major enchantment, but enough to outfit the party, stock up on supplies, and sell or use as quest leads.
