Frost and Thunder: The Glacier Vault

Beneath an ice-choked vaulted chamber the party silenced thunder and broke white scales. The adult white dragon's hoard lay partly frozen in crystalline drifts; its shed scales were already taken by a frost giant who shared the lair, and the storm giant's wargear had been hauled in to trade with the dragon. The party pried free armor plated with white dragon scales, salvaged a frost-encrusted magic blade, and found the frost giant's belt among a pile of fur and bone. Scattered gemstones and carved trophies told of long raids on coastal settlements; a storm-giant banner fragment and an ivory storm-carving were among the most tradeable pieces. A few potions, mixed coinage, and a small custom-forged shard of storm-tempered metal complete the haul. Most items will require attunement and careful transport; the giants' treasures are large and heavy, but the party has earned gear and coin enough to push them toward the next tier of threats.
