The Hollow Reliquary of the Sword Wraith

After smashing through a shattered iron gate and down a corridor smeared with old funeral shrouds, the party found the heart of this chamber: a low stone altar ringed by the remains of the fallen. The Sword Wraith stood sentinel over a tangle of skeletons and the broken husk of an undead warrior; an undead mage's notes and tools lay half-buried beneath a collapsed pew. When the last unlife was sent back to dust, the alcove yielded a mixture of practical gear, necromantic remnants, and a few pieces of true danger — the wraith's connection to the mundane world left behind a blade and a cloak warped by shadow. Much of the mundane gear is dented and rusted, but the mage's spellbook, a vial of ectoplasm, and a couple of usable magical items could prove important to a party at 7th level looking to study or to profit from the crypt's secrets.
