After driving off a raiding band of six goblins and their lone hobgoblin sergeant, the party combs the churned earth and broken palisade for spoils. The goblins carried crude weapons, pillaged trinkets and small coin pouches; the hobgoblin wore slightly better kit — a painted shield, a spear, and a stamped rank badge marking him as a squad leader. Among the bloodstained wreckage the adventurers find usable weapons and armor pieces, a common healing potion, a small ring that could be sold or identified, and a hand-drawn map fragment that points toward a nearby supply cache. The finds are modest but serviceable for a level-2 party, and they include both immediate coin and several items that could lead to their next objective.
