The Wyrm's Last Hoard

After a brutal confrontation in the ruined vaulted hall of an ancient wyrm, the party stands amid overturned plinths, scorched tapestries and a sea of glittering treasure. Much of the hoard is typical — coin, gems and finely worked art — but interspersed are large trophies from the dragon's long life: scales and bones modified into implements, a resonant gemstone pulsing with draconic magic, and a masterwork blade hewn from the creature's femur. The dragon favoured crafted riches and rare enchanted objects; nothing here seems to come from simple brigands or common beasts. The party will have to decide what to melt into coin, what to sell to specialists, and which dangerous curiosities to keep.
