Cracked Lantern Vault — Bandit Captains' Stash

After clearing the narrow underground passages and routing two hardened bandit captains and their five cutthroats, the party pries open a bricked-over alcove behind the captains' table. Inside is the spoils of their raids: battered coin pouches, a few weapons and scraps of armor, items pilfered from travelers, and a couple of things that hint at outside patronage — a crudely engraved signet and a short, wickedly sharp scimitar that hums faintly with a barely-stable charm. The den looks lived-in: a line of drying leather jerkin, a crate of trade goods marked for sale in the nearest market, and a rolled scrap of parchment that could be part of a merchant's ledger or a ransom note.
