Dustbound Vault Cache

Beyond a collapsed corridor and a half-buried statue of a long-forgotten warder, the party finds a shallow side chamber sealed with a rusted iron chest and a broken glass cabinet. No guardians remain — whatever skirmish or abandonment emptied most of the place long ago. Inside are the modest savings of a minor merchant or steward: mixed coin, a handful of cut stones and trinkets, a few useful reagents for a craftsman or alchemist, a single helpful potion and a lone magical blade tucked into a locked pigeonhole as if reserved for the vault's keeper. The items feel like practical gear and trade goods rather than trophies from a battlefield; the metal is tarnished, the gems dull from dust, but real value remains.
