Battlefield Spoils of the Shattered Banner

The field still smells of smoke and iron. As the smoke thins and the wounded are tended, the party moves among the broken ranks gathering what remains: coin pouches torn from unconscious soldiers, medics' flasks and bandages, and the valuables stripped from officers who fell last. Among the ruins of a command post you find a sealed spell scroll and a pair of restorative potions. A champion's longsword, its enchantment barely intact, lies half-buried beneath a torn banner. A bag that seems far larger inside than out and a dark cloak with a warding stitch were tucked beneath a collapsed wagon. Scavenged plate and mail will make fine crafting material or fetch a price at market. These spoils are typical of a mid-level campaign salvage: useful consumables, a modest selection of magic, tradeable gems, and material that can be reforged into new gear or sold to fund the next push.
