The Shattering of the Glass Choir

The cathedral's glass choir collapsed into a twinkling ruin when the primary Stained Glass Guardian and its eleven copies were forced to silence. Their frames buckled and the enchanted panes shattered into a thousand glittering pieces; a faint halo of lingering light clung to certain fragments. Beneath the altar, the battle revealed a hidden devotional alcove where offerings, a gilded reliquary, and a half-burned prayer scroll had sheltered the guardians' power. The party was able to salvage intact filigree, magical cores, votive coins and ritual materials — enough to sell to a master glazier or a temple, or to use as components for repairs and ritual work. Some items hum with a faint, holy heat, others are raw materials prized by artisans. All are appropriate spoils for a level 7 band who fought crystalline constructs born of worship and artistry.
