Ambush in the Lower Spine

After forcing their way through the cramped tunnels of a ruined keep, the party caught the orc raiding party trying to slip through a collapsed hallway. Three orc warriors and a veteran wielding a rune-etched greataxe fell in the skirmish. Their gear is a mix of crude battlefield tools and the spoils of past raids: a single minor enchanted greataxe likely pried from a caravan guard, a healing potion that hints at looted supplies, a small gem someone's wife once owned, and the usual collection of battered weapons and hides. The party can sell most items at a frontier market, keep the +1 greataxe for frontline use, repurpose the hide and tusks for crafting, and use the medicinal roots and potion between fights.
