The Tale of This Treasure

The party spent the day picking through a half-sunken hall where columns split like broken ribs and mosaics lie buried under silt. No guardians remained — time and collapse did the work of any sentries — but the ruins preserved things worth foraging: fragments of ceremonial armor, sealed reliquaries, vellum scrolls turned to dust, and a few objects that still held a purposeful craft. The finds here are less coin-strewn treasure hoard and more the salvaged remains of a learned order: tools for artisans, stored gems and an old ritual trinket whose runes have dimmed but did not entirely fade.
