Vault of the Corrupted Reliquary

After breaking through wards and silencing the two-headed guard dogs, the party descended into the lich's reliquary chamber. The central dais contained a corroded phylactery, an array of ritual books and scroll tubes, and an iron strongbox of tithes. A row of candelabra hid faceted gems and a wand, while the acolytes' quarters yielded holy tokens, a partially preserved spellbook, and components scavenged from the guard dogs. The phylactery found is damaged and cannot immediately return the lich, but it hums with dangerous power and will draw scholars, cultists, and treasure hunters alike. The loot includes practical consumables and a few modest magic items appropriate for a level 5 party, along with rarer relic material that can seed future adventures or plot hooks.
