Sarra Icehand
Blacksmith (artisan / ex-warrior)
Sarra Icehand
Species
Human (southern-born, raised among Taiga barbs)
Appearance
Sarra moves like a creature of two climates: the compact steadiness of southern summers braided into the long-limbed, efficient motions learned under taiga skies. Her skin is weather-creased but warm, like leather that has been oiled and cared for; she keeps her beard-length braid looped and wrapped in thin iron rings salvaged from old harnesses. Her hands are large, knuckles callused and scarred in a palimpsest of work and fight — one knuckle bears a faint diagonal healed split where a knife once nearly took a hand. She favors a high-collared leather apron over layered wool and fur: the surprise is that beneath the thick working layers she wears a thin, embroidered southern shift in faded indigo patterned with creeping vines — a private nod to the home she seldom speaks of. When she walks the shop, each step is slightly off-tempo, as if keeping time to some internal rhythm; when she talks about metal, her eyes sharpen and she moves with precise, almost balletic economy.
“Blunt, measured cadence; short sentences when bargaining; warmer and story-laced when relaxed. Uses southern metaphors rarely but memorably (e.”

Distinguishing Features
Left forearm tattooed with an old southern sigil partly overcoated by a taiga knotwork band
Right thumb missing its nail; smooth pale crescent where it was split in youth
A looped braid with tiny iron rings that chime when she works
A thin diagonal scar across the bridge of her nose
Voice
“Low, rasped from years near fires; not loud but carries; warms to a near-southern lilt when recalling home.”
Clothing
Thick fur-lined wool coat open at the front to reveal a leather apron, patched breeches, heavy soft-soled boots caked in smithing scale; a faded indigo embroidered shift peeks at the collar; a thin iron torque sits at her throat, hammered with rune-like notches.
Body Language
Uses hands constantly when explaining; taps metal surfaces with knuckles for emphasis; stands with weight slightly forward as if ready to move into labor.
