Appearance
Bridar favors the neat, official bearing of a city watch captain refined until it almost looks like costume. His posture is crisp and economical; he moves with the economy of a man who expects to control space around him. His face is smooth-shaven with a long faint scar from temple to jaw that he keeps carefully hidden beneath the collar of his coat. His gauntlets are burnished to a mirror finish and his boots are scuffed only at the toes, as if he habitually drags them less than other men. Unexpectedly, a small braided leather bracelet of bright blue beads sits above his right wrist. It looks out of place on a man who prefers muted city hues and suggests a private sentiment or a promise he keeps only when no one watches.

Clothing
Wears the city watch captain's dark blue coat trimmed with brass, but the coat is tailored and lined with a hidden inner pocket. Beneath it a plain white shirt, heavy leather gloves, and halfplate breast with the precinct crest. At his belt a longsword in a plain scabbard and a concealed hand crossbow. He often wears a cast-iron signet ring engraved with the precinct's arms and a second, unmarked ring blackened with age.
Body Language
Bridar keeps his hands on visible, neutral parts of his person as a habit; he never folds his arms across his chest in a closed manner. When lying, he tilts his chin slightly up and flushes a little in the neck before reasserting steady eye contact.
