Vespera has a porcelain complexion that seems to shimmer slightly under moonlight, but looks sickly and translucent in the sun. She carries herself with a jerky, stop-motion grace as if her joints are puppeted by invisible strings. Her fingers are exceptionally long and tipped with nails stained a permanent, deep violet from the alchemical inks she uses. Paradoxically, she smells faintly of expensive vanilla and old paper despite her necrotic aura.
