Adar is a man of striking, weathered contrasts. His skin is the texture of cracked desert silt, tanned to a deep mahogany by decades of exposure. Though his eyes are clouded with milky white cataracts, he moves with a precision that suggests he sees the world through heat and vibration rather than light. His long, silver-grey beard is braided with sun-bleached cords and small copper rings that chime softly when he moves. Despite his advanced age, his posture is unnervingly straight, and he radiates a constant, gentle warmth that can be felt from several feet away.
