Karal
Wizard
Karal
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
A wide-shouldered half-orc with the slow, deliberate gait of someone used to both labor and study. His skin is the deep olive of river mud at dusk, pocked with faint white burn scars that trace the inside of his left forearm like a map. He keeps one tusk slightly filed, the other longer and blunt. His left eye is a calm iron gray, the right a bright amber with a thin vertical scar across the iris. He wears an old, high-collared scholar's robe patched with leather at the elbows and lined with small pockets of odd shapes. Around his neck hangs a battered brass compass that does not point north but spins faintly when arcane energy is near. When he moves his robe whispers and small threadbare runes shimmer and vanish. Unexpected element: despite his grave bearing he carries a child's wooden top tucked in his belt, stained with magic ink and carved with tiny runes he uses to calm himself.
“Measured, slightly gravelly voice with precise diction. He sprinkles technical arcane terms and old proverbs into casual speech and often frames advice as questions.”
