Tessa Greenbottle
Ranger
Tessa Greenbottle
Species
Halfling
Appearance
Compact and quick, she moves with the quiet assurance of someone who grew up listening to the forest. Her clothing is threaded with the dull sheen of boiled leather and moss, and strips of pale hide hang like fringe from her quiver. Sun-bleached freckles run across the bridge of her nose in a constellation pattern she traces with a fingertip when thinking. Her left ear is decorated with three tiny brass rings, each dented from years of use as the rings double as arrow fletching weights when needed. Unexpectedly, she wears a child's knitted mitten on her right hand, patched and worn, which she never removes; it looks out of place against her hunter's gear and makes people smile or frown depending on the company.
“Speaks in short, clear sentences with a soft rasp from outdoor life; sprinkles hunting metaphors and occasional halfling idioms.”
