Maldrik the Usurper
Warlock (Pact of the Tome)
Maldrik the Usurper
Species
Deep Gnome (Svirfneblin)
Appearance
Maldrik is a gnarled, diminutive figure who carries himself with an unnerving, predator-like stillness. His most striking feature is a pair of obsidian-black horns that curve backwards from his forehead, piercing through the fabric of his signature, wide-brimmed white wizard's hat. His movements are fluid and silent, as if he is skating across a surface of oil. Despite his small stature, he casts a shadow that appears three times larger than himself and often moves independently of his body, reaching out toward nearby objects with claw-like fingers. He carries an aura of calculated menace that makes the air feel heavy and cold in his presence.
“Soft-spoken, precise, and academic. He uses complex metaphors involving clockwork and engineering to describe biological or social concepts.”
