Kaelorn Mireth
Bard (College of Swords)
Kaelorn Mireth
Species
Half-Elf (Riverine Mirian heritage)
Appearance
Kaelorn moves like a practiced verse: precise, theatrical, and deceptively lazy. He favors a dancer's light foot but carries the coiled confidence of a river-steered reed. His face is long and well-boned, with a narrow scar along the left cheek that catches light like a thin silver thread. He keeps one sleeve rolled to reveal a sleeve of faded tattoos in the style of his Mirian river-clans—lines and small fish that bloom into note-like sigils on his wrist. When he smiles it is all teeth and warmth; when he withdraws it is a small closing of lips, like a book snapped shut. Unexpectedly, he wears a heavy iron cuff on his right ankle, chained to a small battered ledger—an affectation he claims is to 'anchor debts to the ground,' though it clinks when he moves, audible above murmurs and market noise.
“Measured, often interlaced with small metaphors drawn from the river or song. He chooses words like notes—making soft crescendos, pausing dramatically at unexpected moments.”

Distinguishing Features
Thin silver scar along left cheek
Faded river-tattoo sleeve turning into musical sigils
Single silver streak in otherwise black hair
Heavy iron cuff on right ankle chained to a small ledger
Voice
“Clear tenor, practiced in projection and nuance; carries over a crowd, able to turn warm and conspiratorial or razor-sharp in an instant.”
Clothing
A battered knee-length coat of deep teal leather, embroidered at the collar with stylized waves; a high-collared linen shirt, dark riding trousers, soft leather boots scored from miles of travel, and a frayed scarf that changes colors slightly where it has been patched. Often he wears the ledger on a leather strap at his hip and a well-polished rapier at his side.
Body Language
Open stance when speaking, hands always moving in small musical gestures; when uncomfortable he tucks his chin and fingers the ledger chain.
