Appearance
Merek moves like someone who has practiced every step as if it were a line in a script: precise, measured, and slightly reserved. Their skin is dusky plum with a fine dusting of faint, silvery freckles along the bridge of the nose and cheekbones that catch torchlight. Two thin, backward-curving horns arch from their temples, polished to a satin sheen where a ribbon once rested. Their tail is often looped and draped like a theatrical sash, and they habitually tuck a tiny carved wooden puppet into the crook of it between scenes. When performing realistic, melancholic roles they wear a faint, practiced frown that deepens the lines at their mouth; offstage, their features relax but their eyes remain contemplative, as if always cataloguing the room. Unexpectedly, Merek's left hand is adorned with a delicate silver ring that constantly warms to the touch — a relic from a childhood loyalty oath. The overall impression is of someone whose performance is a mask built atop a life of careful observation.
“Measured and intentionally clear; uses sardonic asides and wry one-liners. Speaks less when upset, choosing monosyllables to punctuate points.”

Distinguishing Features
Faint silvery freckles across nose and cheeks that shimmer in light
Polished curved horns with a hair ribbon imprint
Left-hand silver ring that warms to touch
Small carved wooden puppet perpetually tucked into their tail
Single ashen streak in otherwise coal-black hair
Voice
“Low, slightly husky, with practiced projection from years performing; capable of warm intimacy when unguarded and a flat, ironic cadence when deflecting.”
Clothing
A patchwork doublet of midnight blues and muted grays, tailored for movement; soft leather bracers with hidden pockets; comfortable fitted trousers; knee boots with silent soles. Onstage they add a long, hooded cloak of faded crimson lined with stage-scarred embroidery. Always carries a battered satchel with props, a slender rapier strapped low at the hip, and a carved wooden puppet tucked into their tail or satchel.
Body Language
Kept to economy of motion: deliberate, small gestures; frequently straightens collars or checks pockets; tucks the tail like rearranging a sash when uncomfortable.
