Bamboo-Hatted Kim
Blademaster
Bamboo-Hatted Kim
Species
Human
Appearance
Tall, lean, and deliberate in motion. He wears a dark blue robe that hangs like a falling wave and a weathered bamboo hat tied with a thin black cord. The hat's rim is frayed on one side where a strike scorched it. His long blade is kept in a lacquered scabbard etched with the names of earlier pupils. When he moves he seems to measure each beat rather than rush; his steps are soft but place weight like a scale. Unexpectedly his left sleeve is always rolled to the elbow revealing a patchwork of faded tattoos beneath a scarred skin patch, a contradiction to his otherwise formal bearing.
“Measured and low, uses proverbs and short corrections; rarely raises his voice except to command.”
