Appearance
Deaden appears as a hollow remnant of a once-living king, sustained by unnatural power. His body is skeletal, the flesh long burned away by the magic that sustains him. Faint, verdant ember-like light glows from within his bones—most intensely in the eye sockets, where dim, smoldering flames replace eyes. Cracks along his frame pulse with that same inner fire, as if something is constantly trying to burn its way out. He is often draped in remnants of royal attire: a scorched cloak, tattered regalia, and fragments of armor fused to bone. These are not pristine symbols of rulership, but worn, blackened echoes—suggesting both authority and ruin. When he moves, there is a subtle, unnatural stillness to him—no breath, no wasted motion—like something held together by will alone. The air around him feels faintly warm, carrying the scent of ash and old fire. Up close, the most striking detail is not his form, but his presence: a quiet, oppressive weight, as if standing near him means standing beside a decision that can never be undone.
“His speech is monotone, precise, and devoid of any metaphorical language or vocal inflection..”
