Borren is a walking monolith of weathered muscle and scarred flesh. His skin is the texture of an old boot and is perpetually dusted with iron filings and sea salt. His left eye is a milky, clouded orb of white scar tissue, while his right eye is a piercing, sharp amber that seems to weigh everything it sees for its scrap value. His beard is a thick, soot-stained auburn, not held with traditional rings but braided with jagged copper wire and tiny brass gears that click when he speaks. Despite his heavy build, he moves with a surprising, predatory silence, like a cave cat in the dark. Paradoxically, while his body is rugged and dirty, his hands are exceptionally well-manicured, possessing a delicacy he uses to flip through his massive iron-bound ledger.
