Gorundin Stonevein
Bard
Gorundin Stonevein
Species
Dwarf
Appearance
Short and solid like a granite column, Gorundin moves with a surprising lightness. His braided beard is threaded with copper wire and tiny bell charms that chime low and irregularly when he walks. His skin is weathered like tanned leather with dozens of faint scars from old mining collapses. He favors a patched tartan sash over a well worn traveling coat. One eyebrow is missing the last third of its length, replaced by a pale raised seam of skin. When he speaks or sings his eyes narrow and a small smile tugs at the corner of his mouth. The unexpected element is a single, ornate monocle with a brass rim that he wears on his left eye even though his vision is not noticeably impaired. The monocle is engraved with tiny musical notes.
“Measured cadence, often sings phrases instead of finishing sentences. Uses regional dwarvish idioms and frequently interjects short refrains.”
