Tilla Brackenroot
Ranger
Tilla Brackenroot
Species
Gnome (Rock gnome heritage)
Appearance
Petite gnome woman who moves like wind through long grass. Her braided chestnut hair is threaded with tiny carved wooden beads shaped like leaves and bones. Her clothing is layered, practical, and slightly weather-bleached: a hooded forest-green coat lined in soft grey rabbit fur over a fitted studded-leather jerkin. There is always a smear of ash or charcoal along her left cheek as if she tests fire and smoke often. Her boots are muffled with strips of cloth to steal sound. Contradicting the utilitarian look, she wears a tiny, polished brass monocle over her left eye when reading maps or tracking by starlight; the monocle looks almost out of place on a wanderer and harkens to a time she lived among scholars.
“Soft but precise; adds tracking metaphors and old gnomish idioms. Speaks quickly when excited and deliberately when describing danger.”
