Edran Sil-vahn

Level 5·Male·Medium
Neutral Good

Species

Half-Elf (Sylvan Coastal heritage)

Appearance

Edran moves like a reed in wind: fluid, purposeful, always leaning toward whatever direction his eyes mark. He wears a hood often half-dropped, revealing an angular half-elven face freckled from years of salt and sun. His left ear bears a small notch from an old netting hook; his right forearm is wrapped in faded leather strips covered in tiny stitched sigils of tides and safe passage. A thin scar runs from temple to jaw, pale against sun-darkened skin. When he walks, he favors the balls of his feet as if listening to the ground; his shoulders are relaxed but coiled. Unexpectedly, he keeps a child's painted wooden whistle tied to his belt—bright blue, worn smooth—an odd, playful contradiction to his otherwise weatherworn practicality.

Spoken sentences are economical and often salted with coastal slang. Uses nautical metaphors and short, clipped phrasing around strangers; becomes longer and warmer with those he trusts.”

Notched left ear from a netting hook

Faint pale scar temple-to-jaw

Child’s painted whistle tied to his belt

Leather forearm wraps stitched with tiny tide sigils

Voice

Moderately deep, slightly husky from salt and shouted commands, measured cadence with a coastal lilt; voice softens around his apprentices.

Clothing

Studded leather vest patched with gray-green cloth, damp-proof cloak with a scalloped hem reminiscent of fish scales, leather bracers with carved runes for weather warnings, salt-hardened boots. A faded blue sash from his coastal village is tied around his hip beneath a quiver.

Body Language

Minimal wasted motion; hands often busy (knotting or touching the whistle); head tilted slightly when listening to others; occupies space like someone used to cramped decks—functional closeness.
