Rithris, the Honest Reaper
Fighter
Rithris, the Honest Reaper
Species
God (Lamia-origin deity)
Appearance
Rithris appears as a towering lamia-bodied goddess whose lower coils are braided with living roots and slow-growing vines that bloom when she is calm and retract like bristling thorns when she is wrathful. Her human torso is wrapped in a lattice of pale bone filigree that looks like a ceremonial ribcage. She wears a feathered mask at her hip, not on her face, carved with two opposing faces: one inhaling, one exhaling. Her movements are deliberate and unhurried, like someone measuring breath; when she walks her coils whisper against the ground and leave faint, half-luminous footprints that fade after an hour. Unexpectedly, her left hand is callused and stained with soil while her right hand is unblemished and faintly warm to the touch.
“Measured, proverb-laden, with intermittent long breaths; uses imagery of inhalation and flame.”
