Kavraun Vel'Sereth
Paladin (Oath of Vengeance)
Kavraun Vel'Sereth
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Kavraun wears a matte black, spiked full-helm that hides his face except for two glowing ember-slits where his eyes would be seen. The armor is a patchwork of hammered plates and welded spikes, each spike filed flat on one side and razor-sharp on the other, giving the silhouette a serrated, predatory rhythm as he moves. Faint burn scars map his neck and throat where the helm meets his skin. When he walks he moves with regimented, slightly exaggerated steps—an echo of a military march—yet his left shoulder droops a touch, as if holding weight the rest of his body refuses to acknowledge. Unexpectedly, he carries a small folded linen sigil tucked beneath a chainmail strap at his chest: a child's hand-drawn sun, smudged and fragile against the dark metal.
“Measured, low, and slightly metallic due to the helm's resonance; he uses short declarative sentences, often addressing people by rank or simple names. He rarely swears, preferring old proverbs or curt biblical-like aphorisms.”

Distinguishing Features
Full spiked helmet with ember-eye slits; face never seen in public
A burn-scarred throat partially visible when he removes his helm in private
Left shoulder slightly lower; his shield is worn on the right arm
Small child's sun-sigil hidden under his mail (fragile linen with a tear)
Voice
“Low, resonant, and slightly hollowed by the helm; measured cadence, slow to anger but terrifyingly steady when enraged.”
Clothing
Beneath the armor he favors rough-spun slate-grey tunics and a calf-length black coat with a crimson lining. Leather straps, prayer ribbons, and a faded, ash-stained tabard of a defunct militia are visible around his waist and hips.
Body Language
Rigid, deliberate movements; small, controlled gestures. He places his sword flat on the ground between himself and others when listening, as if making a boundary.
