Aelendyr Thalasor, First of the Green Crown
Archwizard (Warden of Roots)
Aelendyr Thalasor, First of the Green Crown
Species
Eladrin (Ancient Line of the Verdant Court)
Appearance
Aelendyr moves like a slow wind through leaves: deliberate, reverent, and always with an eye on the canopy. He stands very tall for an elf, not rigid but expanding outward like a tree in bloom. His skin looks faintly veined with silver-green like moss under sunlight; tiny motes of luminescence move across it when he exerts magic. His hands are long, with calluses not from steel but from decades of weaving living bark and grafting saplings into statues. He wears a circlet formed from braided sapwood and star-metal that seems to half-breathe against his forehead. Unexpectedly, his left eye is a pale shard of polished amber—unnaturally smooth and without a pupil—while his right eye is a deep forest green flecked with gold; when he laughs a single, small silver fang flashes, a vestige of an ancient pact. He favors long, flowing motion rather than quick gestures; in battle his movements are patient and inevitability-like, as if the earth itself is aiding each decision.
“Measured, musical elven common with long pauses and an old cadence; he inserts archaic metaphors drawn from growth, seasons, and root-logic. He rarely raises his voice; when he does it shakes like a gale through a stand of birches.”

Tiny luminescent motes that run over his skin when he uses magic
Single silver canine fang visible when he smiles
Voice
“Deep but not booming; aged-lilted, with a musical cadence and a faint rustle like leaves brushing.”
Clothing
Robe-vestments of layered living cloth: inner tunics woven from spider-silk and leaf-silk, outer layers of stitched bark and embroidered rootwork that subtly shifts with the seasons. A mantle of autumn leaves that never rot drapes one shoulder. His boots are soft leather overwood, sound-absorbing, threaded with rune vines that glow when he speaks to trees.
Body Language
Tends to lean slightly forward when listening, placing a palm on living wood near him; rarely points, preferring to indicate with sweeping hand motions that mimic growing vines.
