Polished, deliberate, and slightly theatrical. He walks as if every step is being entered into a ledger. He favors a careful posture that puts his chest forward and his hands always near his pockets or his ledger. His skin is kept immaculate and his fingernails are trimmed to frightening precision. When angered his jaw tightens and a faint web of old scar tissue at his left temple tightens like a ledger's binding. Unexpectedly, he keeps a single faded childhood ribbon tied to the inside of his hat band—a soft, negligent flourish that betrays a private tenderness beneath the austere exterior.

A plain signet ring and a slim, stained leather ledger are always at hand. Under his coat he keeps a fitted chain shirt concealed for protection.

Controlled and economical. He tilts his head in a way that signals calculation rather than curiosity. When he is lying he taps a rhythm on the ring finger of his right hand.
