Appearance
A weathered man whose face is a map of a dozen storms. Salt-dark freckles cluster across his cheekbones. His left cheek is flattened slightly from a healed knife wound, and a thin pale scar runs from temple to jaw. He walks with a purposeful limp on his right leg that shortens his stride but sharpens his stance. He wears a patchwork leather jerkin stitched from sailcloth and deerskin, the seams reinforced with copper rivets taken from ship fittings. Unexpectedly elegant is the silver filigree ring on his index finger with a tiny compass needle that no longer points reliably but always points toward whatever he wants most.
“Gravelly and low, often threaded with sea-slang; uses clipped nautical metaphors to explain plans.”
