Jean Claude Virelle
Bard (College of Lore)
Jean Claude Virelle
Species
Aarakocra
Appearance
Aarakocra in a slightly more fitted off-white pinstriped suit that clings damply to his feathers from constant sweat. He has a proud reddish comb and pendant wattles that bob when he speaks. A tall layered tail feathers outward from the back of his suit like the train of a greatcoat. The feathers' true color is hard to discern under a sheen of perspiration that collects like dew in the grooves of his plumage. His suit has smeared ink at the cuffs and faint flourishes of paint along the hem from his family's artistic trade. When he moves he tilts his head like a practiced actor and uses small, precise wing gestures instead of grand flaps. Unexpectedly, he keeps one wing cuff rolled and bandaged, as if hiding an old, well-healed injury that twitches in moments of stress.
“Fluent in Common and Auran. Uses courtroom cadence, rhetorical questions, and rhetorical asides; slips into French-flavored turns of phrase when excited.”

Clothing
An off-white pinstriped seersucker-like suit tailored to fit an avian form with a stiff collar to cradle his comb. A pocket watch with an artist's monogram, a thin silk cravat stained faintly with paint, and polished wing-cuffs. He conceals a slender rapier and a small, weathered leather folio of photographs and polaroids in inner pockets.
Body Language
He keeps his chest puffed and head cocked; fingers and wing tips tap in precise rhythms. When lying he wipes sweat visibly from his comb with a theatrical flourish.
