Varick possesses a frame as lean and wiry as a length of hempen rope. His skin is the color of aged vellum, dry and etched with a web of fine wrinkles that resemble the topographical lines of the maps he obsesses over. His most striking feature is his left eye, a silver-cased magical prosthetic that hums faintly and rotates independently of his natural hazel right eye. He moves with a calculated, silent grace, though he often stops mid-stride to stare at a wall as if measuring its dimensions. Despite his poverty-stricken circumstances, his hands are meticulously clean, though his fingernails are permanently stained with indigo ink.
