Short-cropped black wavy hair that the sun has softened at the tips, brown skin with a constellation of faint white scars across his left forearm like old lightning, dark brown eyes that narrow into a constant furrowed brow, and broad shoulders that carry his stocky frame with controlled precision. He favors a low, deliberate gait that seems slow until he moves at impossible speed. His knuckles are callused into faint ridges, and when he steels himself small copper beads around his wrists clink together in an odd, rhythmic way. Unexpectedly, his right palm bears a tiny stitched silk patch embroidered with a child's crude drawing, soft and incongruous against his otherwise hard features.
