Appearance
She moves with the purposeful, slightly hurried gait of someone who both greets and manages people constantly. Her hands are callused on the palms from polishing mugs and steadying barrels. Her face shows fine laugh lines but is pinched now with worry; a faint white crescent scar arcs beneath the left ear where a stray nail caught her years ago while unloading a crate. A thin lock of hair is perpetually escaped and tucked behind her ear in a small bronze clip shaped like a gusting leaf. When she tends the bar she hums little half-songs that trail off when a difficult question is asked. The overall impression is of a woman who keeps the inn running by muscle memory, but whose eyes are watching the doorway for something she is afraid to see.
