Jean Wulffang
Artificer (Battle Smith)
Jean Wulffang
Species
Dwarf
Appearance
Jean is a mountain of soot-stained muscle with arms so thick they seem disproportionate even for a dwarf. His skin is permanently grayed by forge ash and slick with a mix of sweat and machine oil. He wears a heavy lead-lined leather apron over bare, scarred shoulders. His beard is not braided in the traditional dwarven fashion but is instead singed short and tucked into a brass chin-guard to prevent it from catching fire. He moves with a heavy, rhythmic limp that matches the beat of his hammer. The most striking and contradictory feature is his eyes; they are a soft, piercing violet that remains disturbingly calm while he performs horrific surgeries.
“Soft-spoken and gravelly with a clinical vocabulary; he refers to pain as 'structural resistance'..”
