The scales catch light like mother-of-pearl from certain angles, showing faint coiling tattoos beneath the skin that glow briefly when she speaks arcane words. She favors minimal movement of her hands, but when she gestures her fingertips leave a subtle shimmer as if dusted by river silt. Unexpectedly, she keeps one eye always lightly closed as if in perpetual partial wink; when she opens it fully the gaze becomes icy and direct.
