Shaleock
Monk (Way of the Open Hand)
Shaleock
Species
Earth Genasi
Appearance
Shaleock stands with the permanence of a cliffside. Their skin is the color of cooling volcanic ash, textured like fine-grain sandstone. Spikes of charcoal grey hair rise from their scalp like obsidian shards, catching the light with a dull, glass-like sheen. Most striking are their eyes: piercing turquoise orbs that seem to glow with an inner luminescence against their matte complexion. They move with a deceptive, heavy grace, like a slow-moving landslide that possesses terrifying momentum once it begins. Paradoxically, despite their dry and dusty exterior, they carry the sharp, refreshing scent of rain hitting parched soil.
“Brief, literal, and heavy. They rarely use metaphors and speak in a low, resonant register.”
