A three foot tall humanoid frog with vibrant gold and emerald skin, Slade is perpetually encased in a custom-made suit of treated leather and heavy oilskins to prevent accidental poisoning of his guests. He wears a large, floppy captain's hat adorned with dried starfish and a thick wig of dreadlocked kelp that smells of salt and tropical spices. Despite his small stature, he moves with a rhythmic, rolling gait that perfectly mirrors the movement of the sea. His eyes are wide, bulbous, and a striking amber color that seems to glow in the dark.
