Appearance
Syr'kalith appears as a tall, slender silhouette woven from shadow and splintered mirror. Her 'skin' is a matte obsidian darkness that drinks light, interrupted by angled shards of prismatic glass that sprout from her shoulders, cheekbones, and the backs of her hands like living facets. The mirror-facets catch and fracture the world; a smile becomes three smiles across different planes. Her movements are unnervingly smooth, the shadows of her limbs lagging a half-beat behind her glassine gestures as if two entities share the same frame. When she leans close her breath smells faintly of cold iron and star-cedar. Unexpectedly, tiny flecks of lichen grow between some shards, warm to the touch and faintly bioluminescent—a contradiction that hints at life grafted onto artifice.
