Xylos is a gaunt, spindly figure who appears to be perpetually caught in a mild breeze. His skin is the color of old, sun-bleached bone and feels like dry vellum. His eyes are wide, unblinking pools of shimmering violet that lack pupils. Most strikingly, his physical form is slightly translucent at the edges, and he never actually touches the ground, hovering exactly three inches above any surface. His movement is fluid and somewhat unnerving, as if he is gliding through water rather than air. Contradicting his austere Githzerai heritage, he wears a garish, multi-colored scarf that depicts a vibrant sunrise from a Prime Material world he once visited.
