Appearance
Rummage typically takes the form of a rectangular, rusted iron waste receptacle with four heavy-duty caster wheels that hover just a hair above the cobblestones. The metal is pitted with age and layered with peeling green paint, yet surprisingly, they emit a faint and pleasant aroma of lavender and old parchment. When they open, instead of a simple lid, a wide maw of jagged obsidian-like teeth is revealed, surrounding a long, violet tongue that drips with a clear, sticky resin. Their movement is a smooth, gliding slide that contradicts their heavy, boxy appearance.
“Their voice sounds like gravel being shaken in a tin can, often punctuated by wet, squelching sounds and metallic clicks..”
